On Thursday, November 2nd, UGottaEat hosted its app launch party. It was magical! Hundreds gathered at 78th Street Studios to celebrate Tonya’s dream of eliminating food waste and creating a social network for healthy food options. From the beautiful décor, signature hor d'eourves, and ambiance set by the amazing DJ, everything was perfect. On top of an awesome app launch party, Tonya also launched an affirmations book entitled, “A Year of (ME) Mindful Eating To Improve Wellbeing,” which was a huge success. The book’s publisher, Royal Perceptions, was also in attendance.

“UGottaEat is my third baby and this party is like its birth,” said Tonya. “I am so happy to be here, in this place in life, and I am happy that each one of you is here with me.”

In addition, after airing a story on Channel 19 news, Sia Nyorkor stopped by to partake in the festivities. Check out her coverage here: http://www.cleveland19.com/story/36749212/woman-launches-ugottaeat-app-to-reduce-food-waste

Featured chefs included Peer Pantry, Collaboration Station, West Side Market Café, Craig Stevens, and Mrs. Devereux’s Sweets. Beverages were provided by CLE Urban Winery, Lina Wines, the Wine Spot, and Platform Brewery.

The UGottaEat team pulled off one for the books.
